CBOE on June 23 announced Cboe Predicts, a new predictive‑markets product suite. The initial offerings are binary options on the mini S&P 500 index (XSP), symbols XSPBW and XSPBX, now available on Interactive Brokers and expected to launch on Charles Schwab in coming months. Binary options are all‑or‑nothing derivatives that have previously traded in OTC markets with regulatory gray areas.
