MOFCOM and eight other departments issued a notice with measures to expand the auto aftermarket by cultivating new motorsports consumption scenes. The notice directs localities to leverage local resources to develop rallies, off‑road events, assembly runs, karting and circuit races and to stage mass-oriented experiential competitions. It also calls for deeper integration of commerce, culture, tourism, sports and health, linking auto events with local tourism assets to create curated travel-with-events routes and broaden consumption scenarios.
