On 22 June, Iran's chief negotiator and parliament speaker Ghalibaf said an Iran‑US memorandum of understanding explicitly calls for ending wars against Iran and its allies. He said both sides concluded in Swiss talks that Iran and the United States should jointly guarantee Lebanon's territorial integrity. The MoU already includes assurances on territorial integrity and should be implemented; the parties agreed to establish a coordination center to resolve related issues, enable displaced Lebanese to return and facilitate withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanese territory.

Hong Kong stocks closed lower: Hang Seng down 1.82%, Hang Seng TECH down 3.3%. Storage, semiconductor and nonferrous metals sectors weakened through the session. China Molybdenum (03993.HK) fell nearly 11%; Lanqi Technology (06809.HK) dropped more than 12%.
