Iran President Pezeshkian said the effectiveness of U.S.-Iran negotiations
depends on full commitment to and concrete implementation of agreed obligations
and will be measured by actual compliance; remarks outside the agreement text do
not help advance talks. The U.S. and Iran held a first round of talks in
Switzerland and agreed to seek a final deal within 60 days. On June 22, after
the round, U.S. President Trump at the White House warned he would act if Iran
fails to comply.
