On June 19 the DRC health ministry reported the current Ebola outbreak has 933 confirmed cases and 245 deaths, an overall case fatality rate of about 26%. Health minister Roger Kamba said 416 patients are hospitalised in Ebola treatment centres and 80 have been discharged; treatment capacity has been expanded to over 516 beds and more beds are being added to admit new community cases and manage suspected cases pending confirmation.

Indian shipping minister Sarbananda Sonowal said on Saturday three Indian‑flagged tankers — Desh Vaibhav, Desh Vibhor and Sanmar Herald — have safely transited the Strait of Hormuz and are en route to India. The vessels are carrying more than 860,000 tonnes of oil and have 94 Indian crew aboard, he said on social media.
