On June 20 in Cairo, the foreign ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Turkey met
with a US senior presidential adviser for Arab and Middle East affairs to
discuss regional security, including Iran. An Egyptian foreign ministry
statement said participants urged building on the US-Iran memorandum of
understanding to sustain de-escalation and promote regional stability. They also
discussed developments in Libya and Gaza and exchanged views on enhanced
cooperation to support security and stability in Africa.
