JD.com said it will increase investment in Suzhou and deploy its e-commerce,
logistics, AI, digital technology and health-service capabilities to support
industrial upgrading and expand local consumption. Suzhou party secretary Fan Bo
and deputy party secretary and mayor Wang Wei urged JD to deepen local industry
collaboration, broaden its Suzhou footprint and help market access for local
products; the city said it will continue a 'three-services' program serving
firms, projects and parks and push a market-oriented, rule-of-law and
international business environment.
