Bank of Japan Deputy Governor HIMINO said wages, including at small firms, are rising and some companies expect wage growth this year to exceed last year’s.

Researchers at the CAS Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligence Technology, led by Wang Kai and Xu Shengjin, have developed a multimodal platform that integrates functional, structural and molecular data for the same neuron. Results published online in Cell on June 18; the team says the platform will be optimized and shared with academia and could accelerate brain-function decoding and interventions for neurological disease.
