China’s most active futures contracts close mostly lower, with low-sulfur fuel
oil (LU) and crude oil down over 6%, while ethylene glycol, methanol, styrene
and PX fall over 5%. BR rubber, plastics, benzene and PTA decline over 4%, and
propylene, PET, short fiber, fuel oil, polypropylene, LPG and bitumen lose over
3%.
On the upside, silver and tin rise over 4%, polysilicon and platinum gain over
3%, while caustic soda, palladium and industrial silicon climb over 2%.
