Malaysia said one of সাত Malaysian-owned commercial vessels stranded in the
Strait of Hormuz has been granted safe passage and is en route to its
destination. The breakthrough followed diplomatic engagement, including talks
between Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, as
well as foreign ministers Mohamad Hasan and Abbas Araghchi. Malaysia reaffirmed
its commitment to freedom of navigation and maritime security under
international law.
