adding the Strait of Hormuz would “automatically” reopen once U.S. forces
withdraw. He said U.S. strikes had “obliterated” Iran’s offensive capabilities
and weakened its nuclear program, while declining to detail targets near
Isfahan. Trump also suggested other nations reliant on the waterway could take
responsibility for reopening it, even as U.S. troop deployments in the region
continue.
