LSEG COLLABORATES WITH DELL TECHNOLOGIES TO ADVANCE MULTI-CLOUD STRATEGY

Australia’s eSafety regulator is investigating Meta Platforms, Snap Inc., TikTok and YouTube for potential failures to enforce the country’s under-16 social media ban. In its first compliance report, the regulator cited “significant concerns,” including weak safeguards and loopholes in age checks. The law took effect Dec. 10, 2025, with potential fines up to A$49.5 million. Authorities are gathering evidence and aim to decide on enforcement actions by midyear.
