Chinese polysilicon prices fell for a fourth week, dropping 4.3%–8% amid weak
supply-demand sentiment, with top-grade material at 40,500 yuan/ton, according
to the China Silicon Industry Association. The group warned capacity cuts may be
harder than expected, with recovery requiring lower inventories, stronger
demand, and improved confidence. Solar installations slowed to 32.48 GW in
Jan–Feb, while LONGi Green Energy Technology Co. and Jinko Solar Co. secured new
module supply deals.
