US stocks rallied Monday after President Trump postponed threatened strikes on
Iran's power plants, easing fears of Middle East escalation. The Dow Jones rose
1.38% (+631 points) to 46,208.53, the S&P 500 gained 1.15%, and the Nasdaq
jumped 1.38%. Trump cited "very good and productive" talks with Tehran
continuing this week. Oil prices fell sharply, with WTI crude down nearly 10% to
around $89 a barrel and Brent dipping below $100 after premarket highs above
$113. Markets responded positively to reduced geopolitical tensions.
