Nov. 7 — At a signing ceremony, the state-owned assets subgroup of Shanghai’s trading delegation reported $2.862 bln in intended procurement at the 9th China International Import Expo. The subgroup recorded 137 intended purchase orders across bulk commodities, medical devices and agricultural/food products, up 3.1% YoY. Since the first CIIE it has logged $25.2 bln of intended procurement with firms from more than 20 countries and regions, ranking first among Shanghai delegation subgroups for nine consecutive years.

President Zelenskiy said Russian Shahed drones and missiles continue to strike Ukrainian power plants, grids, heating and water infrastructure and civilian logistics. He said Russia has not altered its tactics, has rejected de-escalation proposals from Ukraine’s partners and is prepared to continue strikes. Ukraine has identified its next countermeasures.
