China's enterprises signed service outsourcing contracts worth 1.285 trillion yuan in the first eight months of the year, MOFCOM data showed. Offshore service outsourcing contract value rose 4% year-on-year. Offshore business-process outsourcing execution increased 8.3% YoY. Maintenance and R&D services led offshore gains, up 8.8% and 10.8% respectively. The United States, Hong Kong and Singapore were the top three sources of offshore outsourcing demand, accounting for 53.2% of offshore execution.
