DSV Group said it signed a memorandum of understanding with CATL to deepen cooperation on battery logistics, freight electrification and carbon reduction. The deal includes promoting CATL’s electrification of European land transport and a heavy‑truck battery‑swap pilot in China planned for this year, supported by Qiji battery‑swap. Parties will also cooperate on battery recycling and after‑sales, energy storage at logistics parks and charging‑infrastructure solutions.

New export orders stayed strong, leaving overseas demand supportive. Business confidence rose to its highest since February, driven by demand in AI, semiconductors, defence and autos. Employment continued to increase, lifting private‑sector employment growth to a seven‑month high. Firms said cost pressures eased slightly overall but flagged weak yen, Middle East tensions pushing up energy and commodity prices, and rising labour and transport costs.
