Miao Muyang, director of the Industry Development Department at China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, said at a State Council Information Office briefing that the ministry will optimize ticket reservation systems and transport connections for elderly people, children and other groups to make cultural and tourism consumption more accessible, convenient and better tailored to different needs.

FAW Jiefang said on Sept. 23 it held talks with a strategic customer in the Central Asia region to discuss export models and construction of a KD (knock-down) assembly plant. The parties exchanged views on localized production, parts delivery, local-production certification, after-sales network build-out and Central Asia tariff policy, and agreed in principle to cooperate.
