Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova told RIA on the 23rd that all
military materiel bound for Kyiv are legitimate strike targets for Russian
forces. She said Canada–Ukraine's 'century partnership' declaration is unhelpful
and will not produce positive results; continued Western arms deliveries will
only delay peace and risk drawing Western countries further into the conflict.
Zakharova added that a prolonged war increases orders for the Canadian and US
military‑industrial complexes, and that President Zelenskiy is touring globally
for support as Ukraine becomes increasingly dependent on Western backing.
