The secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council said Tehran will not rush into negotiations and the Strait of Hormuz will not reopen until Iran’s conditions are satisfied. He said Iran’s negotiation terms have been drafted and forwarded to intermediaries in Qatar and Pakistan. The official claimed US drone and warplane losses and said US military action has failed to weaken Iran and has instead increased Iran’s international influence; he also said Iran detonated an anti-ship missile over the US carrier Washington.
