On Sept. 21, Shanghai’s municipal cyberspace office, together with the Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, the Shanghai Securities Regulatory Bureau and the Shanghai Stock Exchange, held the first multi-party forum on special online information governance for leading industries. The office said it will create more communication channels aligned with Shanghai’s leading-industry layout and intensify network governance focused on industry needs, lawfully handling illegal information, individual content creators and MCN entities to support high-quality development of integrated circuits, artificial intelligence and biopharmaceuticals.
