Half of damaged capacity at Iran's South Pars gas field has been restored to production, the Oil Ministry's deputy planning minister told Fars News.

At morning close, China's most-active domestic futures were predominantly lower: Shanghai crude (SC) fell 4%; ethylene glycol (EG) dropped about 4%; short-fiber polyester, lithium carbonate and PET bottle flake fell over 3%; methanol, asphalt and PTA declined more than 2%. Gainers included 20# rubber, Europe-route container freight and natural rubber, and Shanghai nickel, all up over 1%; platinum, industrial silicon and fiberboard rose around 1%.
