Israel Public Broadcasting reported that U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) commander Brad Cooper arrived in Israel for a short visit to meet IDF Chief of Staff Zamir and other senior commanders to assess the "multi‑front situation" and discuss Gaza. The report said U.S. forces remain on high alert across the Middle East, with dozens of air‑refuellers, fighters, air‑defence systems and thousands of U.S. troops deployed in Israel.
