Iran's foreign minister led a political and legal delegation to Muscat and met Omani foreign minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi. The two discussed bilateral ties and regional developments, with a focus on the Strait of Hormuz, and exchanged views on using mechanisms under Article 5 of the Islamabad memorandum to ensure safe passage of vessels through the strait.
