Insiders say Shein is preparing for a possible Hong Kong IPO and may accelerate the process in coming months. The fast-fashion group is considering raising tens of billions of dollars, with final proceeds dependent on its valuation. No firm timetable has been set and a listing could still be delayed. Sources said last year shareholders forced Shein to cut its valuation to about $30 billion from more than three times that level.

Fujian meteorological observatory forecasts 10–11 July maximum winds of 11–14 and gusts of 14–16 across offshore and northern-central coastal waters, prompting major marine disruptions. As of 11:00 on July 10, 66 coastal passenger ferry routes and 139 passenger vessels in Fujian are suspended, including four cross-strait "mini three links" routes and high-traffic services to Putian Meizhou Island and Fuzhou's Minjiang tours.
