Tesla has issued parts procurement guidance for Optimus, directing suppliers to reach 1,000 units/week capacity by September and 2,000–2,500 units/week by year‑end. Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) will test-launch an experimental reusable rocket, the RV-X, on Saturday from its Noshiro Rocket Test Center in Akita prefecture to cut launch costs and respond to SpaceX technology.
