insurers to support flood relief and post-disaster recovery. Insurers must
closely monitor disaster progress, allocate survey/rescue vehicles, claims staff
and large-claims liquidity, and provide emergency financial support. On-site
surveys and rescue work should be carried out safely to avoid secondary hazards.
Firms must apply special-case handling and expedited processing: simplify claims
procedures, open green channels, establish centralized claims points in severely
affected areas, and ensure fast payouts where payable, full payment of eligible
claims and reasonable advance payments.
