Iranian media on July 9, citing the Iranian Army public relations department, said Iran carried out further strikes that morning against US bases in the region in response to US attacks on multiple Iranian sites and military units. Military drones struck a Patriot air-defense system at a US base in Kuwait, a satellite-communications early-warning facility at a US base in Qatar, and a fuel depot at a US base in Bahrain.

July 9 — Shandong held a robot and intelligent equipment industry matchmaking event in Jinan. The China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute and the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology released a Shandong robot and intelligent equipment industry brand matrix and announced the province's first batch of 26 key embodied-intelligence robot training sites. The event inaugurated the Shandong Robot and Intelligent Equipment Industry Alliance and the Shandong Robot Standardization Committee, and included signing of public-service projects such as an intelligent robot transmission-system testing center. Leading firms Youbote, Guanglun Intelligent and Zhiyuan Robotics signed strategic regional cooperation agreements. Jinan also set up two provincial-level robot industry funds for its central district and start-up zone.
