DJI has launched the EV50, its first vertical-takeoff-and-landing (VTOL) cargo drone designed for 100-km-class cross-region transport. The model features all-terrain VTOL capability, a maximum payload of 50 kg, a top cruise speed of 160 km/h and an effective range of up to 150 km.

Iran's Foreign Ministry summoned the British ambassador in Tehran to protest what it called repeated, baseless UK accusations that Iran tried to carry out security-threatening operations in the UK. Assistant Foreign Minister and director-general for Western Europe Alireza handed the ambassador a written protest, rejecting the claims as a British tactic to divert attention, evade responsibility and conceal the UK’s destructive actions and breaches of international law.
