Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf posted on social media on July 8 accusing the United States of five serious breaches of an Iran‑US memorandum of understanding: undermining arrangements in the Strait of Hormuz; ongoing threats of further strikes on Iran; reinstating oil sanctions; attacks on southern Iran; and Israel’s continued aggression in Lebanon.
