Flight-tracking service data show persistent heavy rain from a typhoon's outer
circulation prompted weather warnings across South and East China on July 8 and
produced varying degrees of flight disruption. Shenzhen Bao'an, Wuxi Shuofang
and Zhuhai Jinwan reported widespread delays, with up to 85% of flights delayed;
Haikou Meilan, Guangzhou Baiyun, Nanjing Lukou and Jieyang Chaoshan experienced
localized delays.
