July 7 — The National Healthcare Security Administration issued a risk alert
saying that during the product-selection stage of the 12th national centralized
drug procurement an imported originator drug firm submitted a letter purporting
to be endorsed by 31 hospitals and 78 doctors to influence selection. NHSA
contacted the named experts individually and found more than 80% of signatures
were not authentic. July 8 — Takeda China denied it is the company referenced,
saying it complies with laws and participates in procurement communications
compliantly. July 7 evening — Novartis China made a similar denial.
