PBOC's Pan said on July 7 at the Hong Kong Fixed Income and Currency Summit and Bond Connect forum that China's foreign-exchange reserves will continue to increase their allocation to assets in Hong Kong, injecting momentum into Hong Kong capital markets. He said the reserves have been conducting asset allocation and investment trading in Hong Kong for more than a year.

July 7 — Naohu Technology’s implantable brain–computer interface (BCI) hand motor-function compensation system, described as fully implanted, fully wireless and full-function, began a GCP registration clinical trial at Fudan University‑affiliated Huashan Hospital. The multicenter GCP trial will be run with 15 tertiary hospitals in Shanghai and other regions to evaluate safety and efficacy for compensating upper‑limb function in patients with tetraplegia from cervical spinal cord injury. The device is the first subdural cortical‑surface implantable BCI to enter China’s national Class III medical device registration clinical stage, marking a key step toward scaled clinical application of BCI technology in China.
