Yahua Group said its Zimbabwe KMC unit is accelerating a lithium sulfate deep‑processing project with total investment of about $200m. The project comprises a smelter and a sulfuric acid plant, is designed to process 350,000 tpa of lithium concentrate and produce 75,000 tpa of lithium sulfate, and is planned to enter operation in 2027. KMC is simultaneously building a tin‑niobium‑tantalum separation project to enable full recovery of mineral resources.
