Gree Electric Appliances said it is increasing resource allocation and consumer-facing subsidies for its home air‑conditioner trade‑in program. Old units of any brand qualify. Wall‑mounted units: Gree‑brand trade‑in credit 400–600 yuan/unit, other brands 330–500 yuan/unit. Floor‑standing/cabinet units: Gree‑brand 800–1,200 yuan/unit, other brands 700–1,000 yuan/unit. Eligible consumers can also claim a 15% national subsidy (cap 1,500 yuan/unit). Combined, discounts can cut the purchase price by up to 2,700 yuan per unit.
