By contrast, iPhone 18 Pro/Pro Max are estimated at about 20–22 million in Q3 and are already stocked for a September retail launch. Kuo says, based on Q3 stocking, the foldable model is likely to mirror the 2017 iPhone X pattern — announced with other models but opening pre‑orders and official sales later — and expects supply tightness to persist through year‑end.
