Hang Seng futures opened down 0.07% at 23,282, trading 68 points below the cash index.

Yongding Co. expects 1H 2026 net profit attributable to parent of 500–700 mln yuan, up 57%–120% YoY. Prior-year period included an investment gain from an associate’s disposal of a subsidiary; no comparable item occurred in the current period. Profits at the automotive wiring-harness and overseas engineering segments declined YoY. The profit increase is chiefly driven by the optical communications unit, which benefited from accelerated digital-economy rollout and a surge in AI compute demand that lifted fiber volumes and prices, producing sizable margin gains.
