National Australia Bank expects the Reserve Bank of Australia to begin easing by Q2 2027, amounting to 75bps. NAB now forecasts AUD/USD at 0.6700 by end-2027 (previously 0.7000) and sees the pair probing at least 0.6500 at some point. NAB adds that if the RBA cuts next year while the Federal Reserve remains on hold, AUD downside would deepen.

Shanghai border inspection authority said 1H 2026 inspections covered 21.126 mln inbound and outbound passengers and 146,000 aircraft and vessel movements; inbound foreign visitors totaled 3.166 mln, up 22% YoY. Pudong International Airport (PVG) recorded 33,000 outbound Chinese passengers on July 1, a near two‑month peak. Authorities said visa‑free policy gains and concurrent expansion in family, study‑tour and spectator travel are sustaining passenger traffic.
