A Shanghai industry report projects China’s embodied intelligence market will
grow from about 213.3 bln yuan in 2018 to 1.09 tln yuan by 2026, a 22–23% CAGR,
making it one of the fastest-growing global markets. The report highlights a
complete domestic value chain — core sensors, servo motors, harmonic reducers,
final assembly and algorithm integration — with concentrated component clusters
in the Yangtze River and Pearl River deltas that speed prototype iteration
versus US/EU peers and underpin a manufacturing cost advantage of roughly 30–50%
versus overseas rivals.
