SWISS NATIONAL BANK says the Swiss banking sector has sound capacity to withstand shocks amid the current challenging macroeconomic and financial environment.

Bloomberg tanker-tracking shows Saudi Arabia averaged 6.3 mln bpd of crude shipments over the six days to Wednesday after resuming tanker loading and unloading in the Persian Gulf. The flow is roughly in line with Saudi’s 2025 average and about 90% of February levels — when Saudi and Gulf neighbours sharply increased supply — indicating regional oil output is partially restoring following the temporary US‑Iran peace agreement.

China's State Council approved the Sports Power Construction 15th Five-Year Plan, setting targets to build a strong sports nation. The plan calls for upgrading the public fitness service system, reforming competitive-sports governance and operations, strengthening youth sports, promoting revival of football, basketball and volleyball, accelerating quality upgrades and expansion of the sports industry, deepening international sports cooperation and enhancing support capacity to raise public satisfaction and the sector's contribution to economic and social development.
