Dassault Aviation CEO Eric Trappier told a French Senate committee on Wednesday
the company remains open to cooperation after the collapse of the
France-Germany-Spain next‑generation fighter project. Trappier, speaking in his
first formal remarks since France and Germany cancelled development last month,
said he would not rule out working with non‑European partners. He said an
industrial dispute with main partner Airbus stalled the programme and added: “We
have the ability to cooperate, as proven in the past, but we want cooperation
under rules agreed from the outset.”
