9 Air said it will lower domestic fuel surcharges effective July 5 (ticketing
date). For routes over 800 km the surcharge will be 100 yuan per passenger (down
50 yuan); for routes up to and including 800 km it will be 50 yuan (down 30
yuan). The airline noted the cuts follow consecutive increases in April and May
and a smaller reduction on June 5 (down 20/10 yuan) and attributed the move to
falling jet fuel prices.
