The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Development Bank held its fourth multilateral consultations in Shenzhen, Guangdong on June 29-30, 2026. The meeting was co-chaired by Ministry of Finance Vice Minister Liao Min and the Kyrgyz deputy finance minister; Ministry of Finance aide Chang Junhong attended and spoke.

A-shares opened mixed; by midday the ChiNext Index rose 3.06%, the Shenzhen Component gained 2.47% and the Shanghai Composite was up 0.20%. Turnover across Shanghai and Shenzhen exceeded 2.1 trillion yuan; more than 2,500 stocks advanced. Glass-substrate names led gains, with panel maker BOE A briefly hitting the daily limit and reaching its highest level since Feb 2008. Semiconductors outperformed: Cambricon hit a record high and surpassed a 1 trillion yuan market cap, becoming the first STAR Market stock to do so and is up over 75% YTD. Crude palm oil and lab-grown diamond stocks rallied; innovative drug names retraced after yesterday’s strength, while baijiu and livestock sectors underperformed.

Hang Seng opened lower after yesterday's rebound and slipped back below 23,000, falling over 300 points intraday to a low of 22,685.14. At midday the Hang Seng Index was down 1.19% at 22,752.96 while the Hang Seng Tech Index was up 1.40% at 4,454.38; turnover was HK$139.9 billion. Semiconductors and optical-communications led gains and commercial-space names were strong; yesterday's new-drug leaders pulled back while consumer, oil and precious-metals sectors lagged. Dida Mobility (02559.HK) +90.55% after Tongcheng Travel (00780.HK) said yesterday it will launch a full tender offer for Dida (Tongcheng -4.15%).
