Israeli Defense Minister Katz said the IDF is prepared to carry out independent
military strikes against targets inside Iran and has already selected potential
targets. He warned that if Iran fires missiles at Israel, Israel would deliver a
“stunning” retaliatory strike inside Iran and that Israel could be at war with
Iran as soon as tomorrow. Katz said Israel will maintain a long-term military
presence in southern Lebanon, is closely monitoring U.S.–Iran interactions, and
will not interfere with any actions taken by U.S. President Trump against Iran.
