The Baltic Dry Index fell for a sixth straight trading day on Monday, down 34 points (1.4%) to 2,490, its lowest level since April 15. Capesize index slid 102 points (2.8%) to 3,538; Capesize daily earnings fell $923 to $28,588. Supramax index eased 2 points (0.1%) to 1,668, the weakest since June 15. Panamax index rose 14 points (0.7%) to 2,124; Panamax daily earnings increased $127 to $19,117. Handysize index ticked up 2 points to 947.

Politico reports pro-Trump groups are preparing to urge the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to revoke Disney's broadcast TV license (DIS.N). The effort would extend FCC Chair Brendan Carr's pattern of taking punitive action against media outlets viewed as critical of Trump.

Iran’s foreign ministry said Tehran’s immediate priority is ensuring implementation of the memorandum of understanding. The U.S. has issued the licenses required under clause 10 to permit Iranian oil exports and Iran is tracking implementation; procedures to unfreeze assets under clause 11 are also underway. A technical Iranian delegation will travel to Qatar this week to consult on MoU execution, including clause 11. Iran has not started final-agreement negotiations — clause 13 conditions final talks on the start and sustained implementation of clauses 1, 4, 5, 10 and 11. Iran said it will not hold talks with the U.S. in the coming days and that a U.S. representative’s trip to Qatar is unrelated to the Iranian delegation’s follow-up work.
