The Baltic Dry Index fell for a sixth straight trading day on Monday, down 34
points (1.4%) to 2,490, its lowest level since April 15. Capesize index slid 102
points (2.8%) to 3,538; Capesize daily earnings fell $923 to $28,588. Supramax
index eased 2 points (0.1%) to 1,668, the weakest since June 15. Panamax index
rose 14 points (0.7%) to 2,124; Panamax daily earnings increased $127 to
$19,117. Handysize index ticked up 2 points to 947.
