Iran on Sunday urged the United States to set a timetable to push Israel to
unconditionally withdraw from occupied Lebanese territory under a
memorandum-of-understanding framework to end the conflict, Iranian Foreign
Ministry spokesman Baghaei said. He said ending Israel’s military actions and
withdrawal from all occupied Lebanese territory is a necessary condition for a
final, sustainable agreement and regional stability, and Tehran is calling for a
prompt determination of such a withdrawal timetable.
