CENTCOM said the same day it carried out a new round of strikes inside Iran as a direct response to Iran’s continued targeting of merchant shipping, saying US aircraft hit military surveillance facilities, communications nodes, air-defence positions, drone storage sites and minelaying equipment.

Amazon’s four-day Prime Day ended Friday.
