On Friday the Commerce Department permitted Anthropic to restore limited access to Mythos 5 for a small number of trusted users. Semafor reported Commerce Secretary Lutnick wrote that Anthropic has cooperated with the US government to address risks related to Mythos 5 and Fable 5, that substantial progress has been made, and that the company has committed to work with the government on agreements, standards and releases.
