Tech selling resumed as investors dumped AI-related names, dragging European
semiconductor shares down alongside Asian peers. Micron Technology’s strong
after-hours results and upbeat outlook on Wednesday failed to revive the AI
trade on Thursday. On Friday SK Hynix fell 8.4% and TSMC dropped 2.1%; in Europe
ASML slipped 0.9%, ASM International slid 3.3%, Infineon fell 2.9% and
STMicroelectronics lost 2.5%. E-mini Nasdaq 100 futures were down 0.8%.
