Hainan has launched an online natural-resources trading system and a parallel
"natural-resources supermarket" to digitize and consolidate land and other
resource transactions. The provincial online trading system began trial
operation in January, achieving province-wide integration of natural-resources
transactions; registration, information release and other transaction steps can
be completed fully online. The supermarket allows firms to view parcel details,
compare resource conditions and complete intelligent site selection online. As
of June 23, the platform had listed 1,687 construction land parcels and
completed transactions on 1,278.
